UP TO 70% FASTER
Cooking in the DUROMATIC® is up to 70% faster in comparison with ordinary cookware, thereby exposing vitamins and nutrients to high temperatures for a significantly shorter duration. This way ingredients important for healthy eating are retained. The sieve insert in the bottom of the DUROMATIC® also helps to keep the foodstuffs out of the water, which intensifies this effect.
When cooking in the pressure cooker, for example, retains almost 1.5 times as much vitamin C* as cooking in normal cookware. In addition, rapid cooking in the pressure cooker has an energy-saving of up to 69 %.

COOK SO MUCH FASTER
By pressure-cooking in the DUROMATIC® foodstuffs are cooked through much faster than when cooking in ordinary cookware. If, for example, you usually have to cook carrots for 15 minutes, the DUROMATIC® only takes 4 minutes. On average you cook up to 70% quicker this way. That’s how easy pressure-cooking is.
SO MUCH MORE VITAMIN C AND MINERALS RETAINED
The SQTS (Swiss Quality Testing Services) tested the preservation of vitamin C in 100 g of carrot mixture. For example, compared to boiling in a regular pan, pressure cooking preserves almost 1.5 times as much vitamin C. And "Stiftung Warentest" (Foundation Goods Test) measured the preservation of minerals in green beans. For example, pressure cooking preserves approximately 36 % more minerals than boiling in a regular pan. Because the ingredients, which are so valuable for our health, are exposed to high temperatures for a shorter time, there’s almost no opportunity for them to be lost. So it's easy to eat healthier with a DUROMATIC®.

The triple excess pressure release mechanism ensures safety at all times.
1. SAFETY PIN
The safety pin prevents pressure from building up when the lid is not fully closed.
2. SAFETY LOCK
The bayonet lock ensures that the lid can neither be turned nor opened when under pressure.
3. MAIN VALVE
The main valve ensures that steam is automatically released when excess pressure reaches 1.2 bar.
4. SAFETY VALVE
The safety valve under the valve cover is an additional excess pressure valve and automatically expels steam once an excess pressure of 1.8 bar has built up.
5. SAFETY WINDOW
The safety window serves as the final release mechanism. The rubber seal is pushed out of the safety window at an excess pressure of 3.4 bar. This way steam can escape safely and effectively.

The ergonomic grips and handles sit well in the hand, whether the DUROMATIC® is open or closed, and remain pleasantly cool. The Superthermic sandwich base distributes the heat evenly and stores it optimally. The DUROMATIC® is suitable for all types of cooker, including induction.
