Tips for the longest possible lifespan:
It may happen that small scratches, dents or pits appear in the non-stick coating. This does not affect the safety and functionality of the pan.
Avoid overheating
For optimal results, preheat the pan over low to medium heat for a few seconds before adding oil or butter. Do not heat the pan to the maximum temperature of your hob. This is not necessary due to the excellent heat distribution and will damage the pan.
Prevent the fats from burning
Fats begin to carbonize when overheated, damaging the pan's coating. How quickly fat carbonizes depends on the type of oil or butter you use. Check the packaging of the fat to see if it suits the preparation method.
Avoid using metal utensils
Preferably use kitchen utensils made of nylon, silicone or wood. The non-stick coating is not resistant to cutting or sharp objects (such as knives or forks). Do not tap or hit the edge of the pan. This can cause chips or cracks in the ceramic non-stick coating.
Wash the pan with a soft sponge or cloth
Do not use a scouring sponge or dishwashing brush.
The nylon bristles can damage the non-stick coating.
Use pan protectors when stacking the pans on top of each other
Even if you store the pan upside down, we recommend placing a soft cloth under the pan.
If the non-stick coating of the pan deteriorates, this may be due to carbonization. This can cause deposits to form on the non-stick coating as a result of prolonged exposure to intense heat when cooking with fats.
These stubborn stains can be removed:
Fill the pan halfway with water and a little washing-up liquid.
Bring it to the boil and let it simmer. The cooking process removes the burnt residue.
You should now be able to clean the rest of the pan.
Didn't this work? In that case you can use a melamine sponge. Use this sponge with a little water and the stains should disappear. Repeated use of this sponge is not recommended as the non-stick coating may be damaged.
