The Honeywell Carbon Monoxide Detector XC-70 detects rapidly released carbon monoxide (CO), an odorless and invisible gas that is highly toxic, thanks to its reliable sensor technology. The basic XC70 model is European certified and is equipped with a 3V lithium battery with a 7-year service life. Thus, the battery does not need to be replaced. Furthermore, the CO detector features a self-test function for the electronics for added safety. In addition, all of Honeywell's X-Series detectors can be connected wirelessly.
